Daily Nutrients Packets combine three select formulas from Thorne Research: Extra Nutrients (multi-vitamin mineral with extra antioxidants), PolyResveratrol-SR for added cellular support, and Omega Plus for balanced essential fatty acid support.

Basic Nutrients V, Thorne Research's most advanced Basic Nutrients formula, provides a comprehensive multi with calcium, magnesium, and potassium bound to citrate-malate – the most soluble and absorbable of these mineral chelates.* Basic Nutrients V contains vitamin K1 and copper, but no iron or iodine, for those not needing supplemental iron (like young men) or who are sensitive to iodine. Basic Nutrients V also contains a full range of trace minerals and a full scope of highly absorbed vitamin co-factors.

PolyResveratrol-SR® contains pure resveratrol, along with synergistic plant extracts and a resveratrol metabolite, that optimize the metabolism and utilization of this fascinating nutrient and enhance its numerous metabolic, cardioprotective, hepatoprotective, and anti-aging properties.

Omega Plus is a balanced blend of essential fatty acids. While the omega-3 fatty acids have significant health benefits, the omega-6 fatty acid gamma linolenic acid (GLA) also offers similar benefits.* Borage oil is a rich source of GLA (higher than evening primrose oil). Omega Plus provides an omega 3:6 ratio designed to provide a healthful balance of these important essential fatty acids.* Because the typical diet contains significantly more omega-6 than omega-3 fatty acids, fish oils make up a greater percentage of the product.

This product does not contain wheat, gluten, corn, yeast, egg, dairy products, or artificial colors, artificial sweeteners, or artificial flavors. This product also does not contain lactose, palmitic acid, or magnesium, calcium, or vegetable stearates.

Take 1 Daily Basic Nutrients Packet two times daily or as recommended by a health-care practitioner.

ALLERGY WARNINGS This product is contraindicated in an individual with a history of hypersensitivity to any of its ingredients.

PolyResveratrol-SR contains green tea phytosome and curcumin phytosome, plant extracts complexed with phosphatidylcholine, which is derived from soy. Phosphatidylcholine contains no soy protein. There are no other soy-based ingredients in Daily Nutrients Packets.

The omega-3 fatty acids in Omega Plus and the gelatin in the Omega Plus softgel capsule are derived from fish.

PREGNANCY WARNING If pregnant, consult your health-care practitioner before using this product.

INTERACTIONS Curcumin has been shown to reduce the therapeutic efficacy of cyclophosphamide (Cytoxan) in animal studies. In vitro research reveals curcumin decreased camptothecin-induced death of cultured breast cancer cells. Curcumin might also interfere with the absorption and efficacy of the chemotherapy drug irinotecan, used to treat colon cancer. The concurrent use of curcumin with these agents should be avoided.

As vitamin K interferes with the effect of anticoagulant drugs (like Coumadin), the concurrent use of these agents should be avoided.

Folinic acid and 5-methyltetrahydrofolate supplementation is not recommended concurrently with methotrexate cancer therapy, as they can interfere with methotrexate's anti-neoplastic activity; however, these folate sources have not been shown to interfere with the anti-inflammatory activity of methotrexate. An individual taking methotrexate for psoriasis or rheumatoid arthritis can safely take a supplement containing folate.

ADDITIONAL WARNINGS Vitamin C can cause diarrhea in some individuals in large doses, which can vary from person to person and resolves when the amount is reduced.

Gas, bloating, or diarrhea may occur in some individuals taking magnesium supplements. This can occur at varying amounts depending on the individual and resolves when the amount is reduced.
