A good cleansing program requires two steps: cleansing and maintenance. For Thorough Cleansing: Mix one (1) tablespoon of powder with at least 8 oz. of water or juice. Stir thoroughly and drink immediately. Do this morning and evening, 30 minutes before meals for 14 days. Always follow with another 8 oz. of water. For Maintenance Care: Mix one (1) teaspoon of powder with at least 8 oz. of water or juice. Stir thoroughly and drink immediately. Do this once daily upon arising or at bedtime.

If you are pregnant, nursing, have a liver or intestinal disorder do not take this product. Follow directions for use. Take at least 8 oz. of liquid, followed by another 8oz. of liquid.

Do not use if you have or develop diarrhea, loose stools, or abdominal pain because Cascara may worsen these conditions and be harmful to your health. Consult your physician if you have frequent diarrhea or if you are pregnant, nursing, taking medication, or have a medical condition.
