Amylase – This enzyme is believed to breakdown carbohydrates into simple sugars by changing starches into a double sugar, namely maltose. Lipase –Is thought to breakdown fat molecules into fatty acids and glycogen for energy use. Cellulase – A plant fber enzyme not produced by humans or mam- mals that is thought to breakdown into beta glucose in order to utilize the energy contained in plant material.
