  • Vitamin C provides a wide range of health benefits. It's known for boosting immunity‚ fighting free radicals that can damage cells‚ promoting cardiovascular health‚ and supporting healthy blood vessels. It may also boost vision. Although—contrary to popular belief—the vitamin can’t cure the common cold‚ it may give your immune system enough assistance to lessen the severity and duration of its symptoms.

Vitamin C is readily available from a wide range of food sources‚ including citrus fruit‚ broccoli‚ brussels sprouts‚ and cauliflower. You can also obtain it from many vitamin-fortified foods and drinks‚ which includes many breakfast cereals. As a water-soluble nutrient‚ your body needs a continuous supply of vitamin C‚ meaning that you have to consume it on a daily basis. Furthermore‚ many diets don't include enough of it to provide the maximum health benefit. Fortunately‚ supplements can help you bridge the gap between the amount of vitamin C you need and the amount you consume.

Buffered C 500 mg by Vital Nutrients is a high-quality supplement that provides 500 mg of vitamin C in each capsule. Its buffered form is intended to help protect your sensitive digestive system from the irritation high doses of vitamin C can cause. It contains three forms of vitamin C: calcium ascorbate‚ magnesium ascorbate‚ and potassium ascorbate. Calcium ascorbate is a natural form that 's easy for the body to absorb and use; this form also provides the body with calcium‚ which is important for bone health. Magnesium ascorbate may support strong bones and a healthy cardiovascular system. Finally‚ potassium ascorbate helps the heart and kidneys function optimally.

One bottle of Vital Nutrients’ Buffered C 500 mg contains 220 capsules. Consult your doctor about the best dosage for you. The standard recommended dosage is one to two capsules‚ two to four times daily.

Vital Nutrients provides a variety of effective‚ safe dietary supplements. All of their products are gluten-free‚ GMO-free‚ and packaged in BPA-free bottles.

    “Gelatin” capsules are not good.

Gelatin when dissolved coats the substrate preventing absorption by up to 50%. Additionally the rice flours used by most vitamin companies are most likely not organically grown and contain a lot of pesticide residues. Gelatin capsules made from hooves and bones of commercial animal should be avoided. Vegetable capsules dissolve quickly right in the stomach and allows the body to absorb the supplement. So even though Buffered C has no binders or fillers the “Gelatin” capsules are not good.
