  • You can probably remember being told as a child that if you want to grow up big and strong‚ you have to get enough calcium. This is because your body uses calcium in order to build and maintain your bones. Becoming an adult doesn’t make this need for calcium go away‚ since a number of problems can affect your bones and lead to bone loss. Without sufficient nutrients‚ your bones may break more easily. You can also develop low bone density‚ which essentially means that you’re losing bone mass.

One of the best ways to prevent bone problems as you age is to make sure your intake of calcium and vitamin D is sufficient. Although the importance of calcium is obvious‚ vitamin D may be less essential at first glance. However‚ vitamin D helps your body absorb the calcium you consume. Calcium is found in dairy products—like milk and cheese—as well as in leafy green vegetables. Meanwhile‚ one of the best vitamin D sources is the ultraviolet rays that come from sunshine‚ which your skin converts into the vitamin. Vitamin K2 has also been shown to promote increased bone intensity.

Getting enough calcium can be hard for those with dairy allergies‚ or for vegetarians. If you’re unable to get outside often‚ live in a northern climate‚ or are just wary of the potential negative effects on your skin‚ getting enough vitamin D may be a problem as well. Exercise is another great way to keep your bones healthy and strong‚ but fitting time for exercise into a busy schedule can be nearly impossible for some. If any of these situations sound like your life‚ you might want to consider taking a supplement like Jarrow Formulas’ Bone-Up.

Bone-Up is a well-balanced and gluten-free nutritional supplement that promotes bone density and bone growth. In addition to calcium and vitamin D‚ Bone-Up has been reformulated to provide more vitamin K! These capsules also contain a number of other nutrients‚ including:

    • Vitamin C‚ which is used by your body to fuel the cells that create new bone
    • Magnesium‚ because a lack of the mineral can interfere with your body’s ability to utilize vitamin D

One bottle of Bone-Up should last you up to two months‚ if you take the recommended dosage of three capsules twice daily with food.

Jarrow Formulas has been providing superior nutritional supplements at fair prices since 1977. Its scientific panel ensures that all products are made with the highest levels of potency and purity. Saved my bones for 80 years

This bone up I have taken for years and it is the only thing keeping me from getting osteoperosis which my mother had for years. The Dr. told me to keep doing whatever I am doing because it is saving my bones. I am 80 now and it has been my life saver.I will continue ordering this product as long as I am here.

    Pros

All the ingredients are necessary for good bone health and you wont find all these in other plain calcium. I have always believed in this product since years ago my chiropractor told me about this type of calcium.

    Cons

I would recommend this item to a friend.
