I use 2 scoops every night to help me get to sleep. I still wake up in the night. Sometimes 1 X. Sometimes several depending on my weird sleep behavior. But without it I may not get to sleep til much later. This works quickly so be ready to go to sleep within 15 minutes after taking.
I would take the capsules, but for some reason they do not test well with my acupuncturist. This was the only L Tryptophan of the several brands I had on hand that tested well.
Pros:Helps me to get to sleep. Makes me less anxious about night time and not getting any sleep.
Cons:The powder is hard to mix in a tiny bit of water, so I use a shallow glass so I can get what is left on the side with my finger. Also, I use some Pure Stevia powder to sweeten as is not pleasant tasting. But I just use a couple tablespoons of water, sweeten & then down it fast. :)
