This colloidal silver gel is like GOLD!!!
By Tracey from Los Angeles, Ca on April 27, 2011

My physician gave me a bottle of Argentyn First Aid colonial silver gel to use on my lips and face during my initial outbreak of herpes simplex 1. I had lesions all over my chin, lips, around and below my nose, on my cheeks, even blisters on my chest and neck. He told me it would work better than Denavir or any other topical hsv 1 product. I applied the gel with a fresh cotton swan four times daily, and literally the lesions/blisters disappeared within a week!! Results were-and continue to be-amazing! Less expensive than other prescription topical herpes 1 treatments, too! I continue to break out in my mouth and on my lips. Do apply it liberally and don't try to rub it in for best results. As my doctor said, "Just hon it on using a fresh cotton swan for each different area...". This stuff is nothing short of incredible. Pretty much painless when applied to deep, open sores. I only felt a 2-second slight sting on my worst sore. It works superbly on acne, mild burns, abrasions (like "road rash"), herpes blisters both open and closed. Wash affected area thoroughly with warm soap and water and allow to dry BEFORE each application. On lips, reply after drinking soda, water, coffee, etc., as it does tend to come off the lips a little when in contact with drinks, but is completely non-toxic. Argentyn colonial silver sprays, drops, gel, and liquid maintains the very highest purity standards for a superior, consistent product every time! The shortest time it took my face/mouth/neck lesions to disappear has been 2 days and the longest was an open blister in my decollage which took 2 weeks, but due to the location of it and working, I was able to apply the gel only twice a day, a.m. and p.m.. Get the 2 ounce bottle, it's a great value! Oh, BTW, they changed the pump on the bottle, so now the product shoots out half way across the bathroom! Don't bother using the pump; just open the bottle with freshly washed hands and stick a fresh, clean, unused Q-Tip in the bottle to get what you need. Be sure to close the bottle tightly after using. It's worth its weight in gold!!!
Pros:
Fast-acting, stays where you apply it, very soothing, virtually painless, ideal for scrapes on children or minor cuts/abrasions/burns, works great on acne/blemish and rushes, highest purity standards in the industry using natural and intensively purified ingredients, consistent product bottle after bottle. After looking like a mutant Farengi for three weeks, this gel took care of both my acne and herpetic breakouts and made me look and feel human again!Cons:
Once gel dries on lips, has a "drying" effect on skin of lips, the dried gel will crack/peel a little if used on certain areas of face (naso-labial folds, chin, around eyes and around outside perimeter of lips) and must be re-applied, when used on lips must be re-applied after drinking (unless you use a straw to drink), the manufacturer recently changed the pump on the bottle to a different one that is stiff and hard to control; it squirts the product out unpredictabley as opposed to the smoother, easier to control pump they used to install. Despite these cons, Argentyn 28 gel's pro's far outweigh the con's. I'm on my third bottle. I happily endorse and highly recommend this First Aid gel by Argentyn 28 for treatment of scrapes, cuts, minor burns, abrasions, acne, and especially for the treatment of herpes simplex 1 outbreaks on the lips, face, neck, or wherever you have an outbreak of fever blisters and cold sores.I would recommend this item to a friend.
