acids, however the mechanism of action is largely unknown. Traditionally, Maca root has been used for anemia, chronic fatigue, female hormone imbalances, menstrual irregularities, enhancing fertility, impotence, and stamina.

MUIRA PUAMA (Ptychopetalum olacoides) is a plant indigenous to the Amazon region of Brazil. The medicinal parts of the plant are the trunk with bark and the roots. Traditionally, this plant has been used as an aphrodisiac and adaptogen.
In vivo studies have demonstrated a beneficial outcome with Ptychopetalum olacoides in regard to adaptation to stress and potential antidepressant properties. Additionally, it may be beneficial for libido and restoring sexual
function.
