Amla C was recommended to me by my naturopath as a substitute for a vitamin C supplement. I have a chronic illness and need some help with oxidation and liver support, but I also have a very sensitive gut and other forms of vitamin c bother my system. This goes down easy and gently, and is a good source of antioxidants. It also has no extraneous ingredients.
I only wish it listed the amount of c in the product so I had an idea how much I was getting, but I do know that the amla fruit contains 20x the amount of vitamin C as in oranges and many of the studies done on amla and it's benefits on health were done with amla powder or tincture.
