Adrenal Response by Innate Response Formulas is a botanical formula that was created to help support biochemical imbalances and cortisol levels – especially as it relates to altered adrenal function.

What is Sensoril?

Sensoril® is a patented extract of the ashwagandha root and leaf, which has been clinically shown to strengthen the body from the deleterious effects of chronic stress. Ashwagandha is a popular herb used in Ayurvedic medicine to treat symptoms of stress, fatigue, strain, skin diseases, pain, diabetes, epilepsy, rheumatoid arthritis and various gastrointestinal diseases. In addition to all of the ailments it has been used to treat, it is also used as a general healing tonic, which is believed to improve overall health and longevity. Ashwagandha is sometimes even used as a local analgesic. Studies have shown that this root has anti-inflammatory and neuroprotective properties that might protect against damage to the cartilage that is seen in conditions such as osteoarthritis. Other studies have shown that ashwagandha extract may have antioxidant, antitumor and anti-stress and immunomodulatory properties. It has also been shown to have positive effects against insulin-related conditions such as hyperglycemia and hyperinsulinemia, and it may even play a role in modulating type 2 diabetes.

What is Rhodiola?

Rhodiola is a plant-derived adaptogen. Various studies have shown that it plays a role in normalizing the way the body responds to stress and helps maintain a balance within the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal axis (HPA). Rhodiola is a plant that has been used in traditional holistic medicine in Eastern Europe and Asia for centuries. It has been used stimulate the nervous system, improve sleep and fight depression. Many experts believe that rhodiola is so effective because of the strong antioxidant properties found in its flavonoids and organic acids. Studies have shown that the extract of this root displays strong anti-depressant activity, and it may even help protect against cancer (again, researchers credit its strong antioxidant properties). In addition to all this, many use rhodiola extract to help improve physical endurance, reduce stress-induced fatigue and improve mental performance. Recent studies have shown that it may also be effective against generalized anxiety disorder (GAD).
