AdrenaCort supplies freeze-dried, BSE-free, adrenal cortex, along with a complex of factors that support the function of the adrenal glands. Pantothenic acid and vitamin C are required for adrenocortical steroid synthesis, and licorice contains compounds that inhibit the catabolism of glucocorticoids, thus extending their life and activity. Bioflavonoids are added for their ascorbic acid-enhancing effects.

Bioflavonoids 210 mg


Licorice (glycyrrhiza glabra)(4:1) 150 mg
Adrenal cortex 90 mg (freeze-dried adrenal tissue from new zealand bovine source.)

I have adrenal insufficiency. This product supports my adrenal for normal energy during the day and a restful night. I take a couple tablets morning, noon, and late afternoon - six tablets daily. During menopause I have increased this supplementation by one tablet for better sleep.
Pros:
Gentle / adequately supports. Does not raise blood pressure like some other adrenal products.
Affordable.
Cons:
No problem

I have been taking this product for about 5 months now and I can say that between this AdrenaCort and a very good probiotic my weight has dropped and I feel much better. I have also made changed my diet. Apparently our adrenals get very distressed and most of us are at a great disadvantage in this area. I know that this product has been very helpful when it comes to getting me back on track. I highly recommend taking AdrenaCort.
