ADR Formula by Pure Encapsulations is a dietary supplement that works to support your adrenal glands. Stress is often thought of as a psychological condition; however, it usually affects us physiologically as well. Your adrenal
glands are particularly susceptible to stress. When you are stressed your body produces hormones to help fight through the stress. Your body then produces another hormone, cortisol, which is used to reduce the amount of the previous
hormones. However, during constant bouts of stress, our body and our adrenal glands are often not able to maintain the right hormone levels, which in turn can lead to adrenal fatigue, anxiety, and sleeplessness.
Adrenal failure is
caused by damage to the adrenal gland or disease, which can result in a decreased level of hormones. Adrenal fatigue is also commonly caused by severe physical, environmental or emotional stress. The adrenal gland is directly

used to help your body better cope with stress. Eleuthero ginseng is also used to stimulate your immune system, which often becomes compromised during times of increased stress and adrenal fatigue. Adrenal bovine is used to promote healthy
adrenal function and added energy in times of stress and fatigue.
Like all Pure Encapsulations products, ADR Formula does not contain hidden coatings, excipients, binders, fillers, shellacs, artificial colors, wheat, gluten, nuts,

Are There Any Potential Side Effects Or Precautions?
If pregnant or lactating, consult your physician before taking this product. Stomach upset and nausea have been reported by sensitive individuals using adrenal extracts. Other reports suggest a general stimulatory effect attributed to adrenal extracts, eleuthero, and Panax ginseng that could result in anxiety, irritability or trouble sleeping. Glycyrrhizin-containing licorice extracts have been associated with increasing blood pressure at several grams per day but not in the amounts provided by this formula. However, eleuthero and Panax ginseng are not recommended for individuals with uncontrolled high blood pressure.
Are There Any Potential Drug Interactions?
Some ingredients contained in this formula may adversely interact with Digoxin, Warfarin, Ticlopidine and diuretics. Ashwagandha is contra-indicated with immunosuppresant medications. It may have an additive effect when combined with sedative medicatons or thyroid medications, so use with these types of medications should be monitored. Consult your physician for more information.
